Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop along the Atlantic coast sea breeze and affect portions of southeast Florida through 430 PM edt. This activity will be most concentrated across southeast Broward and eastern Miami-Dade counties...although additional storms will develop and affect the remainder of the area through the afternoon. Wind gusts to 35 mph...small hail...frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes... And torrential downpours...producing rainfall rates up to 1.5 inches per hour...will occur with this activity as it moves westward at 5 to 10 mph.
