Peninsula Malaysia (or West Malaysia) runs from Singapore to the Thai border with approximately 400 miles of coastline forming the eastern boundary of the famous Malacca Straits. On the Gulf of Thailand coast, the distance to the border is slightly less. The most well-known charter destination in Malaysia is the island Langkawi on the North West coast. Surrounded by a hundred or so small islands, this cruising area offers an outstanding natural landscape. Throughout the cruising area there are many fabulous resorts, beautiful beaches and bays, with Tanjung Rhu being one of the most spectacular.
