I’m thinking about chartering a yacht in the Caribbean’s, possible Virgin Islands. I would like a few tips on seasons and places to visit when sailing the area. Anyone with experience on sailing the Caribbean?
Thanks.

Hi John
I have been to the Caribbean’s once a looooong time ago (some 20 years ago). I have been longing back ever since. The weather is a dream and the water is wonderful. I’m still dreaming about barracudas and fly fishes. I think the best time to sail the Caribbean’s is something like January through March. Although if you want some privacy you should think otherwise since the most tourists go this time year. I know that you wound be disappointed when ever you decide to go. Hope your decide to make the trip!
Please report back if you decide to go.
Best regards
David

Hi John I live in the British Virgin Islands and it is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend a charter here because you can visit so many islands within a relatively short distance. But we are also in close proximity to the US Virgin islands, Puerto Rico & St Maarten. June through November is hurricane season, but also the cheapest time to charter. If you are looking for help with chartering a boat I can suggest www.whitehorseyachtcharters.com they have years of charter experience and should be able to answer any questions that you might have.
