A group from The National Yacht Club in Toronto is planning to charter 3 or 4 yachts for a couple of weeks in Angra dos Reis in Brazil. Two charter companies serving the area appear to have yachts of the size and type we are looking for:
- Inter Yacht Charter
- Windward Islands Charter
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with either of these companies - particularly:
- Are they reputable and honest?
- Condition of their yachts (age and how well maintained)?
- Prompt service should any emergency maintenance be needed en route (e.g. gear or engine failure)?
- Help in cruise planning?
